What will you learn?

Programming is the functional foundation of a video game, an indispensable process. Upon completing the game programming cycle in Unreal Engine, you will be able to implement mechanics, breathe life into a narrative or storyboard, give behavior to characters, and create a complete interactive experience. This training is designed in a multidisciplinary manner, so you will work following the work methodologies of a professional studio.

During the first year, you will discover Unreal Engine. In this engine, you will learn how to develop a 2D video game with the help and guidance of our instructors. Thanks to our project-based methodology, you will develop a 2D video game as a group alongside students from the art degree. In the second year, you will create a 3D video game. Finally, in the last year, your technical knowledge will enable you to develop a complete multiplayer project oriented towards the professional world. With our career guidance team and the teaching staff, we will guide you to build the project that will ultimately serve as your introduction to the professional world.

Learning to use this versatile engine from scratch.

Houdini

Learn how to generate objects and environments procedurally to efficiently populate our virtual worlds with a high level of realism. You will be instructed in the industry-standard software for VFX and procedural generation, both in film and video games.

Blueprints

Organize computationally how different elements relate, various techniques to simplify problems, and patterns that help optimize code.

Artificial Intelligence

C++ Programming

Understanding the abstraction layer of C++ for Unreal Engine and how to operate with different elements.

Software Engineering

You will learn to computationally organize how different elements relate, various techniques to simplify problems, and patterns that help optimize code.

Real-time visual effects in a game immerse us in a unique and special world. You will discover the power of Niagara as a creative tool as well as the workflow process.

Gameplay

You will learn about graphic adventures, 3D platforms, action games, and fighting games. Split-screen, the skill system. The course will expand to include 3D puzzles, inventories, and other gameplay tools in Unreal Engine.

Game Developer

Developing the most critical aspects of the game on a technical level. Taking charge of project development and coordinating file input and game phases. In addition to designing gameplay mechanics and various actions within it. In essence: directing gamification and the player experience.

 

VFX Programmer

This role is responsible for the technical aspects of visual effects. Creating visual effects involves programming within the game engine to trigger the effect when a specific event occurs. In summary, a VFX Programmer is the person responsible for executing and integrating visual effects into the project.

UE Tool Developer

A developer of tools for Unreal Engine is a highly specialized role dedicated to developing the game engine to create proprietary working environments. Many studios create games on their own graphics engine derived from Unreal Engine, and this responsibility falls under the UE Tool Developer profile.

VR/AR Developer

The virtual and augmented reality developer is responsible for the visualization systems of the graphics engine, allowing the connection of this 3D technology through cameras to an AR viewer or VR glasses. They will be knowledgeable about various systems such as Oculus, PS VR, HTC Vive, etc.

Game Designer
